xTool P2S Setup Requirements: Table, Power, Exhaust, and Accessories

The published P2S body is 39.37 × 25.16 × 10.55 inches and weighs 99.2 pounds. xTool lists 100–120 VAC and a 700 W maximum for the U.S. machine. Those values cover neither the supporting surface nor accessory loads. Plan the laser, exhaust or filtration equipment, optional riser or conveyor, delivery package, connections, and access as separate items.

02 · Original calculation

Treat the setup as a system rather than one machine rectangle

  • The closed body occupies about 6.88 ft² before allowances for hoses, cables, lid travel, rear service, or material travel.
  • A 24-inch-deep top is 1.16 inches shallower than the published machine body.
  • A 48 × 30 in top leaves 8.63 inches across the body width and 4.84 inches in depth before operating allowances.
  • The published 700 W maximum is a machine figure, not a complete laser-room or branch-circuit calculation.
Calculated does not mean manufacturer-approved.

Arithmetic can expose a conflict or tight margin. It cannot establish support suitability, delivery handling, operating clearance, ventilation, electrical capacity, fire protection or code compliance.

03 · Use it in the room

Turn the comparison into a measured plan.

  1. Measure the usable supporting surface and obtain its documented load rating and stability requirements.
  2. Select the exact base, riser, rotary, conveyor, exhaust, or filtration configuration before drawing the operating envelope.
  3. Inventory each machine and accessory nameplate separately for review by the manufacturer or a licensed electrician.
  4. Obtain order-specific package dimensions and walk the full delivery route before shipment.
04 · Open evidence

Keep these questions unresolved until confirmed.

  • General order-specific P2S carton dimensions and weight remain unresolved in the main profile.
  • The cited sources do not publish one numeric minimum table size or complete open-lid and service envelope.
  • This page does not size a circuit, fan, duct, filter, make-up-air path, or fire-protection system.
This page is not a product review.

LaserRoomReady has not physically tested the featured machines. It compares cited room-planning evidence and original calculations only.

05 · Questions people ask

Direct answers, with the boundary intact.

Does the P2S require a 700 W circuit?

No circuit conclusion follows from that number alone. It is xTool's published machine maximum; accessory loads, nameplates, continuous use, and applicable electrical requirements remain separate.

Should I use an inline fan or AP2?

They represent different documented paths. Choose the route that matches the exact machine, materials, and location, then confirm every connection and requirement.

Can the P2S body sit on a 24-inch-deep workbench?

Its published depth is 25.16 inches, so the closed body exceeds a 24-inch top before any connections or clearances are added.
